Premier-PLUS Club Program​

6th - 12th Grade Girls (11U to 18U)

The Premier-PLUS Program is designed as a full-club season going from November to June of the following year with teams being built based on tryouts and availability. Our coaching staff has vast experience in the sport at both the national and regional level and, through parental demand, we're offering a much longer season that's more demanding of the athletes who participate while still keeping tournaments local and saving parents from costly traveling and hotel stays. Simply put, the Premier-PLUS Program is geared towards athletes who want to dedicate significantly more time in the sport, compete in over double the tournaments, and play all the way into summer.

What does the season look like? Practices are two times per week for two hours each. All tournaments will be located in Illinois, except for the Diggin’ in the Dells tournament in April that will require a two-night hotel stay (hotel rooms for the athletes will be INCLUDED in the season dues and will be shared accommodations of 3-4 teammates to a room. Parents and siblings are welcome to also book rooms for a discounted rate through Aggression, though it is not mandatory. While multi-sport athletes are encouraged to be a part of this program, there is a stronger emphasis on attendance for practices and tournaments. *Please note a Premier-PLUS team does NOT necessarily mean a higher level of skill. This is a common misconception. Instead, the Premier-PLUS program offers athletes significantly more training and competition with over double the tournament dates. It also requires more dedication and time from our coaching staff, our athletes, and the athlete’s family in addition to some light travel for tournaments (Diggin’ in the Dells in Wisconsin and Navy Pier in Chicago).

 

Who is the Premier-PLUS Program for?

• 6th - 12th grade girls

• Athletes looking to commit to a longer season within a more volleyball-intense program with significantly more practice and competition

• Athletes wanting to compete in league tournament dates, 2-day standalone tournaments, and more National-level tournaments (like Diggin' in the Dells in Wisconsin and the ASICS National Championship in Navy Pier). All tournaments - save for Diggin' in the Dells - are typically within about an hour of Sycamore, IL.

• Athletes looking to possibly play at the collegiate level

What does the season and practice days look like?

​

• November thru mid June

• Two (2) hour practices

• Two (2) practices per week (below days subject to change)

  • Middle School and under teams will typically be Mon/Wed after 5pm

  • High School teams will typically be Tue/Thur after 5pm​​

What about tournaments?

​

• Approximately 20 tournament dates (this will include League dates)

• Up to 60+ matches

• Includes both local tournaments (all these tournament locations are within approximately one hour of the Sycamore/DeKalb area), league dates, and two travel/national-level tournaments (see below). It is important to note that our Diggin' in the Dells tournament in Wisconsin will require athletes to stay at a predetermined team hotel. These hotels are chosen based on price (typically about $150/night), location to venue, overall ratings, and amenities for the athletes ie: an indoor pool, breakfast, close to facility, etc.. Shared hotel accommodations for athletes (3-4 teammates per room) are INCLUDED in the price of the program. Parents and siblings can also choose to stay at the same hotel at a discounted rate through our Aggression booking link with the hotel.

Likely tournament schedule for each season (subject to change):

• Warm-up Tournament Dates

  • ​Up to two (2) 'warm-up' tournament dates in December 

​

• Chicago Volleyball League (CVL)

  • Eight (8) tournament dates over four (4) weekends with typical dates being:

    • Two (2) tournament dates in January, 2027​

    • Four (4) tournament dates in February, 2027

    • Two (2) tournament dates in March, 2027

  • All tournament locations will be in Elgin, Libertyville, Rockford, or Glen Ellyn, IL

• Diggin' in the Dells

  • Middle of April (Sat & Sun; dates depend on team age levels and are TBD each season)

  • ​Two-night hotel stay required for athletes and is INCLUDED in dues (shared accommodations of 3-4 teammates/room; hotel will be the Wyndham or something similar; parents and siblings will be offered discounted accommodations through an Aggression link at the same hotel but will be completely voluntary.

• One-Day & Two-Day Local Tournaments​

  • 8 - 10 local tournament dates (all will be on weekends; specific dates TBD)

    • likely schedule, though subject to change:​

      • 1 - 2 warm-up dates in December

      • 1 - 2 dates in March​

      • 2 - 4 dates in April (includes the two-day Diggin' in the Dells tournament)

      • 2 - 3 dates in May

      • 2 - 3 dates in June (includes the ASICS National Championship at Navy Pier)

  • All tournament locations will be in Illinois and typically within one (1) hour of Sycamore

  • Middle of June; typically a Monday & Tuesday

  • ​NO hotel stay required for athletes

Do I have to buy a uniform package?

​​

Nope! The full Aggression uniform package is included and there is nothing more to buy.

​

The uniform package includes the following:

​

• two (2) practice shirts

• two (2) jerseys

• Aggression backpack

• tournament gear (ie: Aggression Hoodie/pant set or similar)

• volleyball (for new athletes only)

 

What about season discounts or fundraising opportunities?

​

• Referral Program pays current athletes $50 for every new athlete that joins an Aggression club program

• Sibling Discount is $50 for any club program

• Head coaches with athletes in the program receive half off their athlete's dues

• Raffle ticket fundraiser

  • Premium-PLUS Athletes are required to sell fifteen (15) raffle tickets by mid-January at $10/ticket. Any additional tickets the athlete sells will earn them $5 to be paid out at the end of the season as a check. For example, if an athlete sells 68 tickets, the athlete would receive $265 dollars (53 extra tickets x $5). This program has been used by several athletes to pay for their entire season.​

What else is included?

• Team bonding events (dinners, movie nights, non-volleyball activities, etc. This varies by team and parent involvement)

• Positional training for multiple positions (if applicable)

• Make-up practices

  • If an athlete misses a practice, they will have the option to make up that practice with a different team at a different time/day​

• Discounts on:

  • Returning athletes

  • Private lessons​

  • Clinics

  • Camps

• Uniform packages

• All tournament entry fees

• Hotel stays for athletes (shared , same-sex accommodations)

• Training

  • Assigned head coach ​​

What about cost?

​

• $2395/Returning or $2595/New *INCLUDES a two-night hotel stay in the Wisconsin Dells for all athletes

• +$75 mandatory Facilities Fee & JVA athlete insurance for each athlete (good thru June of the following year). This is not an Aggression Fee.

Are payment plans available?​

​

• Club dues should be paid in full by Dec.. 15th for the Premier-PLUS Program. If easier for the family, the payment plan for the National program looks like:

  • $675 Commitment Deposit/1st Installment (for those trying out in Summer) due at Tryouts in July

  • $675 2nd Installment due by Oct. 1st (plus initial $675 Commitment for athletes who have not yet paid their initial deposit)

  • $675 3rd Installment due by Nov. 15th

  • Balance due by Dec. 15th

• On an as-needed basis, payment plans can be customized and/or extended as we'll do whatever we can to work with families​. Customized payment plans that need to be extended past the December 15th date will incur a one-time $35 recording fee.
